Course Use and Design
Lake Monticello's golf course is a beautiful semi-private 18-hole, par 72 golf course, 6,925-yard course that boasts championship men's, seniors', and ladies' tees.State-of-the-art electric golf cars are available and walking is permitted.Buddy Loving designed the course, taking in account the natural contours and features of Piedmont Virginia's lovely rolling landscape.Tees and fairways are predominantly Bermuda grass, with bent grass greens. The fairways are open, but there are out of bounds, woods and/or water on every hole.
Skill Level
Lake Monticello's golf course is designed for golfers of all skill levels.Group and individual golf lessons are available.Fees subject to change.

Apparel
All golfers must be appropriately dressed. Cutoffs, halter tops, tank tops, swim wear, underwear as outerwear, t-shirts, tennis attire or blue jeans are not acceptable. Shirts must be collared or banded shirts; shorts must be mid-thigh or longer; and all golfers must wear golf with soft spikes or athletic shoes.
The Pro Shop
The Pro Shop provides golfers with a retail shop, driving range, practice green and bunker, and Eagles Nest snack bar. Group or individual golf lessons are available.

Under the supervision of the General Manager, performs such duties as are normally performed by a Golf Professional as recognized by the PGA of America, including supervision and promotion of play, enforcement of rules, operation of the golf pro shop and its staff, scheduling of events. Coordinates events and play with Golf Course Superintendent.
